"What Is Film Distribution?"

Film distribution involves getting your film out into the world.  This may include the film being in theaters in the US, or internationally, as well as Video on Demand, Television, or even DVD (yes there is still a market for this!)

The way to do this is to find an international Sales Agent or Distributor.  But how do you find these people or these companies?  And when you do find them, how do you approach them? What do you say?

There are dozens of international territories. And if you land the right sales agent, you could potentially have your film in a number of these places, on a number of platforms all around the world.

The first step is knowing what to do...

Carole Joyce, Film Producer

"Tom understands what it takes to close an investor and to even find them! He is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend him."

"I Want to Sell My Film"

I hear this all the time from filmmakers.  The issue is, they don't know what to do.  Too many filmmakers have become so advanced at the execution of making a film, but have completely ignored what to do once the film is finished. And this lack of preparation is one major reason why so many filmmakers fail to sell their films.

As a filmmaker, it is your responsibility to your investors, and to yourself to gain an understanding of international film distribution. Having this knowledge will help you at any stage.

Even if you don't have a film yet, knowing about distribution can potentially help you close investors. If you do have a film, you can formulate a plan on how to take it to the market and get a deal.

Valentine Nonyela, Indie Filmmaker

"The international distribution video training had nuggets of information that will save a producer a lot of time and a whole heap of money. I am tired of learning the hard way by making mistakes. This training will help me avoid that. It was really great "

"What Is Included In This Training?"

I learned this information by going to markets for years and years!  If you were to buy just one full badge for one market (let's say the American Film Market in Santa Monica), you'd be spending over $1000.  And there's no possible way you could learn everything I've learned in going to multiple markets for 15+ years.  So the value of these videos comes from years and years of experience.  How much is that worth to you?  $5000?  $10,000?

And let’s be frank, if this strategy can help you get a few steps closer to getting your next film produced or distributed, then that price this is an absolute bargain... However, you don’t have to pay that amount to enjoy the professional benefits of this training. Instead, all you have to invest is $97!

You can actually finish the entire training in an afternoon. And I think this knowledge will help you as you plan out your International Film Distribution strategy. Keep in mind that the techniques I’m going to share with you in this video series are the exact same techniques I have used in my own career, including the following:

"Getting the money is the most vital part of getting your film made. Without money, nothing else can happen. Kudos to Tom Malloy."

"Why You Risk Absolutely Nothing"

Your success in the movie business depends on your ability to know the marketplace, the decision makers, and have a game plan for how you will sell your film.  You could have an idea for a film, a film in pre-production, a film in post production, or a film ready to sell. No matter where you are, you need to learn how, where, and when to sell your film.

Armed with this knowledge, you’ll be able to either design a film specifically made to sell, or know what to do with the film you’ve just finished. At the end of the day, none of us are making films just to put on a shelf and have no one see them. We all want exposure, acclaim, and hopefully money!

With this in mind, I put a ton of work into making this the best step-by-step international film distribution training in the world. I’m convinced you won’t find a better system to help you learn this stuff. So when you get this training, you’re free to try it out for 60-days. If you follow the steps and really give it a shot I guarantee you’ll be satisfied. And if this training does not help you get closer to your filmmaking goals, I will happily return your money.

"I just watched your film distribution training. So much good information. (And it's the LAST thing I want to worry about.) So at the end, I was VERY happy when you said, "I know this is the least sexy part of filmmaking." I can't tell how good that made me feel!"

"I invested in this training to compare my plan for finding a distribution deal for my film with Tom Malloy's professional overview of finding distribution for a completed, independent film. There were some tough things to hear, but I am better prepared having heard them. There were things covered that I already knew, and it was good to have them affirmed."

See you in the training,

Tom Malloy
